Community Champion – honoring an SK colleague that creates social value in the workplace and community by engaging in volunteerism and philanthropic endeavors, helping improve the environment, and more
Hailing from SK Life Science,
Inc., Lauren Sos, Neuroscience Account Manager, was selected as our Community Champion for her advocacy with the Epilepsy Foundation and other organizations. She has organized over ten events in the past three years, including podcasts with clinicians, case managers, social workers and patient families, as well as a live advocacy event in which 50 families participated. She is recognized for her high level of integrity and work ethic, and she has made a difference in the workplace and community by leading through example with these patient and caregiver advocacy events.
Purposeful Partner – recognizing an SK colleague that has demonstrated exceptional collaboration and partnership
Saba Malik, Marketing Manager at SK pharmteco, was selected for her exceptional collaboration skills. She successfully managed SK pharmteco’s first-of-its-kind technology symposium with a tight timeline and budget, and also formed a cross-disciplinary team to help with the event. The symposium attracted over 60 attendees from pharma and biotech companies—resulting in increased brand awareness and opportunities to strengthen relationships with existing and new customers. Known as a team player with a mindset of seeking opportunities from challenges, Saba fosters a culture of creativity, flexibility, and trust.
Builder for Tomorrow – recognizing an SK colleague that has redefined how we do things and sets the standard for the future of our business
Michael Martin, Safety, Health & Environmental Emergency Response Manager at SK Battery America,
was selected for working tirelessly to improve the safety of SK Battery America’s operations. The SK Battery America Safety, Health & Environmental Emergency Response team will now be leading subject matter experts for safety procedures with EV batteries and Lithium Ion technology. Michael’s 20+ years of experience have also helped limit production downtime. He is recognized as a strong, visionary leader who has demonstrated loyalty and commitment to not only his team, but the entire organization.
Colleagues’ Choice: Driving for Better – honoring an SK colleague that has exhibited extraordinary performance while helping strengthen our company culture
Clayton Compton, Quality Laboratory Operations Supervisor at AMPAC Fine Chemicals, was selected for always going above and beyond to help make sure the facility runs as efficiently as possible. He ensures that everything gets fixed in good time, and he notifies everyone when something goes down, how long it may take to get fixed, and when it’s back in service. Recognized for his professionalism and positive attitude, Clayton is known as an invaluable source of information that allows the company to continue without any downtime when issues occur.
